Degree of urbanisation (DEGURBA) for alternative polygons (true shape)

The DEGURBA alternative polygon (object-based) model, which maps the actual shape of urbanized areas using a detailed spatial distribution of the population at address points. Unlike the grid-based approach, DEGURBA allows for the precise delineation of settlement structures without the influence of a fixed grid and eliminates uninhabited areas.
