Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 2,000,000

The Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 2,000,000 (MČR 2M) relates with the contents of the Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 2,000,000 and Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 1,000,000. It shows the entire territory of the Czech Republic on a single map sheet. It contains planimetry, altimetry, geographic coordinate grid, map lettering and the map legend. Planimetry consists of settlements, transportation (highways, roads, railways), hydrography (significant water courses and reservoirs), borders (state and regional), vegetation and land surface (forests). Subject of the altimetry are elevation points. Map lettering consists of standard geographic names (names of cities, hydrography), map name and the scale with imprint data and the graphic scale, textual part of the legend and geographic coordinates on the frame edges. The file data are provided in TIFF format and supplemented with TFW files for S-JTSK and ETRS89-TM33N coordinate systems. In addition, the data are also provided in PDF format.

Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 500,000

The Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 500,000 (MCR 500) is part of the fundamental state map series and it is designed as a general geographical map. It depicts whole area of the Czech Republic in one map sheet. MCR 500 contains planimetry, height points, geographical grid, map lettering and map legend. The subject of the planimetry are settlements, road network covering motorways, expressways and 1st class roads, hydrography, borders (state and region), cover and surface. Elevation proportions are represented by height points and shaded terrain relief. The map lettering comprises of standardised names, spot heights (information about the elevation), map title and map scale with map imprint and figures of a scale bar, text part of the map legend and frame data and geographic coordinates. The geographical grid is divided by 1°. The data file is provided in TIFF data format with TFW spatial referencing files for S-JTSK and ETRS89-TM33N coordinate reference systems. In addition, the data are also provided in PDF format.

The Map of the Czech Republic 1 : 1,000,000 (MČR 1M) relates with the contents of the map of the Czech Republic 1 : 500,000 and is conceived as a general geographic map. It shows the entire territory of the Czech Republic on a single map sheet. The MČR 1M contains planimetry, altimetry, geographic coordinate grid, map lettering and the map legend. Planimetry consists of settlements, transportation (highways, roads, railways), hydrography (significant water courses and reservoirs), state and regional boundaries, vegetation and land surface (forests). Subject of the altimetry are elevation points. Map lettering and marginal notes consist of standard geographic names, map name and scale with imprint data and the graphic scale, textual part of the legend and geographic coordinates on the frame edges. The file data are provided in TIFF format and supplemented with TFW files for S-JTSK and ETRS89-TM33N coordinate systems. In addition, the data are also provided in PDF format.
