INSPIRE theme Elevation (EL) - GRID

For the theme Elevation INSPIRE requires data harmonisation according Elevation - Grid Coverace application schema. This dataset of the elevation of the Czech Republic therefore has the unified design with other data created for this INSPIRE theme in frame of whole Europe. Data were derived from the Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic – 4th generation (DMR 4G). For compliance with the data specification data were transformed to coordinate reference system ETRS89-TM33N and heigh reference system EVRS. Data are provided in graphic raster format (tiff) with 5 m spatial resolution together with the accompanying information in GML format.

INSPIRE theme Elevation (EL) - TIN

The INSPIRE Elevation TIN data are harmonised according to INSPIRE Implementing Rules. This dataset of the elevation of the Czech Republic therefore has the unified design with other data created for this INSPIRE theme in frame of whole Europe. Data were derived from the Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic – 5th generation (DMR 5G). For compliance with the data specification data were transformed to coordinate reference system ETRS89-TM33N and heigh reference system EVRS. Data are provided in GML format, version 3.2.1. Export units are defined by tiles 2 x 2 km. The file consists mainly from coordinates of descrete points, that are supplemented by addtition information.

ZABAGED® - Altimetry - contours

The contour lines were derived from the Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic, 5th Generation (DMR 5G). The basic interval is 1 m, with an attribute distinguishing index contour lines at an interval of 5 m. In flat terrain, supplementary contour lines at an interval of 0.5 m are added. Given the requirements for universal use in 3D visualisation across a wide range of GIS and CAD software, the contour line objects in this dataset are represented by a three-dimensional vector spatial component with coordinates X, Y, H. The altitude H in the Baltic Vertical Datum – After Adjustment (Bpv) is also stored as the attribute "HEIGHT", providing additional options for labelling contour lines when creating maps. The dataset further contains a supplementary layer of form lines, represented by a two-dimensional vector spatial component with coordinates X, Y. Contour lines are not intended for terrain analyses (e.g., visibility, slope, aspect); for these purposes, it is recommended to use the DMR 4G or DMR 5G products.

ZABAGED® - Altimetry - DMP 1G.Digital Surface Model of the Czech Republic of the 1st generation (DMP 1G) in ETRS89-TMzn, EVRS

The Digital Surface Model of the Czech Republic, 1st Generation (DMP 1G), represents the territory including buildings and vegetation cover as an irregular network of height points (TIN) with a total root mean square error of 0.4 m for precisely delineated objects (buildings) and 0.7 m for objects that are not precisely delineated (forests and other vegetation elements). The model was created from data acquired by airborne laser scanning of the Czech Republic between 2009 and 2013. DMP 1G is intended for analyses of terrain elevations (DMR 5G) and the geographical objects located on it (buildings and vegetation cover) at regional and, in some cases, local scales, for example in visibility analyses, radio wave propagation modelling, modelling of the dispersion of harmful substances and pollutants in the atmosphere, and generating virtual terrain views in flight simulators and training devices. This dataset is provided in the ETRS89-TM33N coordinate reference system and the EVRS vertical reference system.

ZABAGED® - Altimetry - DMR 4G. Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic of the 4th generation in ETRS89-TMzn, EVRS

The Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic of the 4th generation (DMR 4G) represents a picture of natural or by human activity modified terrain surface in digital form as heights of discrete points in a regular grid (5 x 5 m) with coordinates X,Y,H, where H means the altitude in the Baltic Vertical Datum - After Adjustment with total standard error of 0.3 m of height in the bare terrain and 1 m in forested terrain. The model is based on the data acquired by altimetry airborne laser scanning of the Czech Republic territory between years 2009 and 2013. DMR4G is established to analyse terrain situation at regional scale and character, e.g. for extensive transport and water management projects planning, natural phenomena modelling etc.

ZABAGED® - Altimetry - DMR 5G. Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic of the 5th generation (DMR 5G) in ETRS89-TMzn, EVRS

The 5th generation digital relief model of the Czech Republic (DMR 5G) represents a representation of the natural or human-modified earth's surface in digital form in the form of heights of discrete points in an irregular triangular network (TIN) of points with coordinates X,Y,H, where H represents the height above sea level in the Balt height reference system after leveling (Bpv) with a complete mean height error of 0.18 m in exposed terrain and 0.3 m in forested terrain. The model was created from data acquired by the method of airborne laser scanning of the elevation of the territory of the Czech Republic in the years 2009 to 2013. It was completed as of 30 June 2016 for the entire territory of the Czech Republic. DMR 5G is intended for the analysis of terrain conditions of a local nature and extent, e.g. in the design of land adjustments, planning and design of transport, water management and building structures, modeling of natural phenomena of a local nature, etc. DMR 5G is a basic source database for the creation of contour lines intended for large-scale maps and computer visualization of elevation in territorially oriented information systems of high level of detail. This dataset is provided in the coordinate reference system ETRS89-TM33N and the height system EVRS.
