The digital surface model of the Czech Republic from image correlation represents a representation of the georelief including all natural and human-made objects. Natural objects include vegetation cover, while human-made objects represent buildings. The DMP, the first one created from data acquired in 2024, is created by the method of image correlation of aerial survey images acquired primarily for Ortofoto ČR. The dataset is available in the form of a point cloud arranged in a regular grid (0.2 × 0.2 m), and in a raster format (0.5 × 0.5 m), which is created by interpolation from the point cloud. The DMP from image correlation is intended for analyses of the height ratios of the georelief and objects located on it, both regional and local in nature. Typical uses include visibility analyses, modeling the propagation of radio waves, modeling the propagation of harmful substances and impurities in the air. This dataset is provided in the ETRS89-TM33N coordinate reference system and the EVRS elevation system.

The Digital Surface Model of the Czech Republic of the 1st generation (DMP 1G) represents a picture of the territory including buildings and vegetation cover in the form of irregular network (TIN) with total standard error of height 0.4 m for precisely delineated objects (buildings) and 0.7 m for objects not precisely limited (forests and other elements of vegetation cover). The model is based on the data acquired by altimetry airborne laser scanning of the Czech Republic territory between years 2009 and 2013. DMP 1G is established to analyse terrain situation (DMR 5G) and geographical objects located on it (buildings, vegetation) of regional and partially local character, e.g. to analyse visibility, radio wave propagation modelling, atmospheric pollutants propagation, generating of terrain virtual images for flight simulators etc.
