Registr územní identifikace, adres a nemovitostí (RÚIAN) je jedním ze čtyř základních registrů České republiky, jeho fungování je upraveno zákonem č. 111/2009 Sb., o základních registrech, ve znění pozdějších předpisů. Plně funkční je od 1. 7. 2012. Správcem RÚIAN je Český úřad zeměměřický a katastrální (ČÚZK). Je součástí Informačního systému veřejné správy. RÚIAN vede popisné a lokalizační údaje o územních prvcích, územně evidenčních jednotkách, účelových územních prvcích, jejich vazbách a o adresách. Z pohledu veřejné správy je nejdůležitějším referenčním prvkem RÚIAN adresa, na kterou se odkazují ostatní informační systémy veřejné správy. V rámci projektu RÚIAN funguje agendový Informační systém územní identifikace (ISÚI). Prostřednictvím ISÚI dochází k zápisu nových a aktualizaci či rušení existujících záznamů v RÚIAN. Editory územních prvků jsou, vedle správce registru, obce, stavební úřady a ČSÚ. Pro vnitřní potřeby města Brna byla nad rámec RÚIAN vytvořena datová vrstva specifických čísel stavebních objektů (Identifikační bod objekt - IBO). Tato čísla zajišťují jednoznačnou identifikaci a lokalizaci i těch stavebních objektů ve městě, na které se nevztahuje žádná ze stávajících územních identifikací. Jedná se o: Číslo areálové - slouží k podrobné lokalizaci objektů v areálech a je přidělováno budovám, které v nich leží a nemají přiděleno číslo popisné, popřípadě evidenční. Číslo je složeno z čísla popisného hlavní budovy areálu (zpravidla vrátnice, administrativní centrum apod.) a z dodatečného, v rámci areálu jednoznačného, identifikátoru – tzv. přípony. Přípona může nabývat alfabetických, alfanumerických i numerických hodnot. Číslo zástavby umožňuje lokalizaci objektů, které nemají přiděleno žádné standardní číslo územní identifikace (ani číslo areálové) a je přidělováno všem budovám, které byly identifikovány jako stavební objekty (chaty, komíny, kapličky, regulační stanice, drobné stavební objekty, garáže, ...). For each address point are following attributes specified: address point code, municipality code and name, name of municipality district/municipality part (for territorialy structured statutory cities only), code and name of Prague city district (for Prague only), municipality part code and name, street code and name (in case it is specified), type of building object (with description/registration house number), house number, orientation number (if it is specified), character of orientation number (if it is specified only), postal code, Y and X coordinates of pointer of address point (in JTSK coordinate system) and the date of validity. Dataset is provided as Open Data (licence CC-BY 4.0). Data is based on RÚIAN (Register of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estates). Data covers the whole territory of the Czech Republic. Data is provided for individual municipalities in a compressed form (ZIP). ZTM 25/S-JTSK started to be produced using digital technology in 2020 from the Fundamental Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®) and the Geonames database of geographical names of the Czech Republic as a replacement for the Base Map of the Czech Republic 1:25 000 (ZM 25). It is available as print files in PDF format (CMYK) containing the complete content of the map sheet, in raster TIFF format (RGB, 24-bit colour depth, 508 dpi, LZW compression), and in vector format in SHP and DGN8, enabling the use of ZTM 25/S-JTSK data in GIS and CAD applications, including limited editing. The distribution unit is the ZTM 25/S-JTSK map sheet. In the case of the print PDF, it covers an area of 400 × 500 mm with an overlap of 20 mm in the east–west direction and 10 mm in the north–south direction, plus space for frame data and marginal information (total PDF area 500 × 790 mm). In the case of the raster TIFF tile, the segment size is 400 × 500 mm (corresponding to 10 × 12.5 km at map scale). The position of individual tiles in the coordinate system is ensured by world files (TFW). The same spatial extent applies to the distribution units of vector data in SHP and DGN8 formats.
ZTM 250/ETRS89 was created in 2023 from ZTM 250/S-JTSK as an extension of the national map series with the ZTM 250 variant in the ETRS89-TMzn plane coordinate system. It is available as PDF print files (CMYK) containing the complete content of the map sheet, and in raster TIFF format (RGB, 24-bit colour depth, 508 dpi resolution, LZW compression). The ZTM 250/ETRS89 map sheet serves as the distribution unit. In the case of a PDF print file, the map sheet measures 570 × 820 mm. In the case of a TIFF raster tile, the segment measures 485 × 637 mm. The positioning of individual tiles within the coordinate system is provided by world files (TFW).
