Fenologické záznamy na fenologických stanicích ČHMÚ jsou zapisovány podle předepsané metodiky ČHMÚ pro fenologická pozorování lesních rostlin. Na stanicích jsou sledovány tyto druhy bylin a dřevin: blatouch bahenní, brusnice borůvka, hluchavka bílá, jahodník obecný, jaterník podléška, jetel plazivý, konvalinka vonná, kopretina luční, podběl obecný, pryskyřník prudký, psárka luční, rákos obecný, sasanka hajní, sněženka podsněžník, srha říznačka, třezalka tečkovaná, vrbka úzkolistá, vřes obecný, borovice lesní, bříza bělokorá, buk lesní, dub letní, habr obecný, javor klen, javor mléč, jeřáb obecný, lípa srdčitá, líska obecná, modřín opadavý, olše lepkavá, slivoň trnka, smrk ztepilý, svída dřín, svída krvavá, třešeň ptačí, trnovník akát a vrba jíva. U bylin jsou sledovány tyto vybrané fenofáze: butonizace, počátek kvetení 10 %, počátek kvetení 50 %, počátek kvetení 100 %, konec kvetení, zralost plodů 10 %, první listy 10 %. U dřevin jsou sledovány tyto vybrané fenofáze: butonizace, počátek kvetení 10 %, počátek kvetení 50 %, počátek kvetení 100 %, konec kvetení, zralost plodů 10 %, zralost plodů 50 %, zralost plodů 100 %, rašení, první listy 10 %, první listy 50 %, první listy 100 %, plné olistění, žloutnutí listů 10 %, žloutnutí listů 100 %, opad listů 10 %, opad listů 100 %, janské výhony. Údaje jsou uvedeny v pořadovém dni roku tzv. Julianech dle Juliánského kalendáře.
