Feature layer depicting the location of springs where the observation of yield is performed. In the past, all springs were observed by volunteers. Currently, these springs are still partly monitored in this way, and partly monitored with equipment having a daily measurement frequency. The data are stored in the Central Regime Database of Groundwater which is maintained by the Hydrology Database and Water Budget Department.
Feature layer depicting the location of boreholes observing groundwater level in shallow and deep aquifers. Currently, most of the measuring objects are equipped with automatic stations that record locally or transmit the data. These stations record once a day. Originally, the boreholes were observed by volunteers with a weekly frequency of measurement. Most of new measuring objects were built during the so-called ISPA project. They went into operation in 2007. The data are stored in the Central Regime Database of Groundwater which is maintained by the Hydrology Database and Water Budget Department.
The INSPIRE - Hydrography data are harmonised according to INSPIRE Implementing Rules and correspond with INSPIRE xml schema in version 4.0. The dataset is processed according to the application schema Hydro-Network. This dataset of the hydrography of the Czech Republic therefore has the unified design with other data created for this INSPIRE theme in frame of whole Europe. The features are represented by a vector component with attributes containing wider information about names. The base dataset is the Fundamental Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®).
The INSPIRE - Hydrography data from application schema Hydro-Physical Waters are harmonised according to INSPIRE Implementing Rules and correspond with INSPIRE xml schema in version 4.0 and ELF xml schema in version 1.0. The dataset is processed according to the application schema Physical Waters and contains features: Watercourse (centre line and area of watercourses broader than 4 m), StandingWater, LandWaterBoundary, Falls, Crossing (bridge, culvert, aqueduct), DamOrWeir, Ford and Lock. The attributes are based on the ZABAGED® data (including name), eventually on attributes that could have been derived (e.g. area) and values that are constant for whole dataset (e.g. the fact that the name is in Czech and written in Latin alphabet).
Fundamental Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®) is a vector geographic digital model of the territory of the Czech Republic (ČR).At present time the planimetric component of ZABAGED® consists of 136 feature types as settlements, communications, utility networks and pipelines, hydrography, administrative units and protected areas, vegetation and land cover, terrain relief and selected data about survey control points. The features are represented by 2D vector spatial component and a descriptive component containing qualitative and quantitative information about features.
