The INSPIRE - Land use data from application schema Existing land use are harmonised according to INSPIRE Implementing Rules and corresponds with INSPIRE xml schema in version 4.0. The dataset is processed according to the application schema Existing Land Use. This dataset of the land use of the Czech Republic therefore has the unified design with other data created for this INSPIRE theme in frame of whole Europe. The features are represented by a vector component with attributes containing wider information about names. The base dataset is the Fundamental Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®).Therefore the land use dataset is based on observed reality derived from geographical data. The Hierarchical INSPIRE Land Use Classification System (HILUCS), required by Commission Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010, is used for classification of land use features.
Open dataset contains localisation and the state-of-the-art of data on individual registered mining waste facilities in the Czech Republic.
According to Act no. 157/2009 Coll. § 17 Sec. 4, point. a) and b) CGS was commissioned by the Ministry of the Environment to identify closed and abandoned mining waste depositories that are significant risk to environment and human health. CGS maintains a register of these depositories.
Open dataset contains Information about the Protected territories for special intervention into the Earth’s crust in the territory of the Czech Republic. It includes (according to §34 of Act No. 44/1988 Coll., Mining Act) underground storages, underground depository of radioactive and other waste and industrial use of the Geothermal energy. CGS provides data on undermined areas to public authorities and spatial planning authorities in accordance with the valid Building Act. Furthermore, this data is used in the assessment of mine workings impacts and the processing of complex information about the territory.
Fundamental Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®) is a vector geographic digital model of the territory of the Czech Republic (ČR).At present time the planimetric component of ZABAGED® consists of 136 feature types as settlements, communications, utility networks and pipelines, hydrography, administrative units and protected areas, vegetation and land cover, terrain relief and selected data about survey control points. The features are represented by 2D vector spatial component and a descriptive component containing qualitative and quantitative information about features.
