INSPIRE – All AQ data associated with AQ monitoring stations

Concentrations measured by all monitoring networks are stored in the AQIS air pollution database. The database contains data from the beginning of measurements, and sulphur dioxide and suspended particulate matter concentrations from the station networks of the CHMI in North Bohemia and Prague from 1971. Accompanying meteorological data, which are measured at a large part of the automated monitoring stations of the CHMI are used for the evaluation of air quality-meteorological relationships, are also stored in the ISKO database. In addition, the ISKO emission database also includes data provided by cooperating institutions. These include the Public Health Institute in Ostrava, the Public Health Institute in Ústí nad Labem, the National Institute of Health, ČEZ, a. s., municipal authorities and other contributors. The database also includes information from the border areas of Slovakia, Germany, Poland and Austria.

INSPIRE – Network of groundwater discharge monitoring objects

Feature layer depicting the location of springs where the observation of yield is performed. In the past, all springs were observed by volunteers. Currently, these springs are still partly monitored in this way, and partly monitored with equipment having a daily measurement frequency. The data are stored in the Central Regime Database of Groundwater which is maintained by the Hydrology Database and Water Budget Department.

INSPIRE – Network of groundwater level monitoring objects

Feature layer depicting the location of boreholes observing groundwater level in shallow and deep aquifers. Currently, most of the measuring objects are equipped with automatic stations that record locally or transmit the data. These stations record once a day. Originally, the boreholes were observed by volunteers with a weekly frequency of measurement. Most of new measuring objects were built during the so-called ISPA project. They went into operation in 2007. The data are stored in the Central Regime Database of Groundwater which is maintained by the Hydrology Database and Water Budget Department.

INSPIRE – Surface water monitoring station network

Feature layer with the location of water-gauging stations. Over 90% of measurements are carried out through automatic stations with locally stored records or transmitted records. Discharge is derived from observed water level using rating curves, which are determined based on hydrometric measurements. The data from these stations are stored in the Central Regime Database of Surface Water which is maintained by the Hydrology Database and Water Budget Department.

INSPIRE Bio-geographical Regions - Biogeographical Division of Czechia

This data set contains spatial data with biogeographical division of the Czech Republic. This division was elaborated initially for purposes of national and supra-national Ecological Networks. It has its own hierarchy, consisting of both individual and typological biogeographical units. Higher units (biogeographical province, subprovince, and bioregion) are of individual character. Within the territory of the Czech Republic, two biogeographical provinces, four biogeographical subprovinces and 94 biogeographical regions have been distinguished. Hierarchically lower biogeographical units (biochores, group of geobiocoene types) have typological character; their characteristics in English are intended to be published later. All of the biogeographical units - with the exception of the group of geobiocoene types - are elaborated in maps of scale 1:50 000 and are included in this data set.

INSPIRE coordinate grid Grid_ETRS89-GRS80

Coordinate grid constructed in projection ETRS89-GRS80, which divides displayed area into bands defined by meridians of the GRS80 ellipsoid, more precisely into zones defined by parallels of the GRS80 ellipsoid. INSPIRE Protected sites - Natura 2000

This data set contains spatial data for Natura 2000 sites in the Czech Republic. It includes proposed Sites of Community Importance, Sites of Community Importance and Special Areas of Conservation according to the EC Directive on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (92/43/EEC) as well as proposed Special Protection Areas and Special Protection Areas according to the EC Directive on the conservation of wild birds (79/409/EEC). INSPIRE theme Addresses (AD)

Dataset for the theme Addresses (AD) harmonised according to the INSPIRE Directive and ELF Data Specification version 1.0. Harmonized INSPIRE dataset contains address points and their components, which are country, municipality, municipality part, Prague district (MOP), town district (MOMČ), street and post. Data contains also 2D geometry - pointers of address. The dataset covers the whole area of Czech Republic. It is provided as Open Data (licence CC-BY 4.0). Data is based on RÚIAN (Register of territorial identification, addresses and real estates). .04%, i.e. 1060 of addresses do not contain geometry – coordinates of pointer (to 2025-12-15) and therefore are not included in the dataset. Data is created daily via individual municipalities (if any change within the municipality occurs), is provided in the GML 3.2.1 format and is valid against XML Definition Schema for the theme Addresses in version 4.0 and spatial data scheme for ELF in version 1.0. Dataset is compressed (ZIP) for downloading. INSPIRE theme Administrative Units (AU)

Dataset for the theme Administrative Units (AU) harmonised according to the INSPIRE Directive and ELF Data Specification version 1.0. Harmonized INSPIRE dataset contains only administrative units and their boundaries. Administrative units are country, regions, districts and municipalities. The dataset covers the whole territory of the Czech Republic in one file. Administrative boundaries are routed between common boundary points of three administrative units at the lowest level of division, i.e. municipalities. It is provided as Open Data (licence CC-BY 4.0). Data is based on RÚIAN (Register of territorial identification, addresses and real estates). Dataset is created daily in case of any change. Data in the GML 3.2.1 format are valid against XML Definition Schema for the theme Administrative Units in version 4.0 and spatial data scheme for ELF in version 1.0. INSPIRE theme Buildings (BU)

Dataset for the theme Buildings (BU) harmonised according to the INSPIRE Directive and ELF Data Specification version 1.0. Data contains buildings and building parts. Building parts necessary for INSPIRE implementation are represented by entrances and come from RÚIAN. Entrances contain technical-economical attributes and other information. The data set covers the whole area of the Czech Republic. It is provided as Open Data (licence CC-BY 4.0). Data comes primarily from the project RÚIAN (Register of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estates) and partly from ISKN (Information System of the Cadastre of Real Estates). .41%, i.e. 17524 of buildings do not contain centroid or polygon (to 2025-12-15) and therefore are not included in the dataset. Data is created daily via individual municipalities (if any change within the municipality occurs), provided in the GML 3.2.1 format and is valid against XML Definition Schema for the theme Buildings in version 4.0. Dataset is compressed (ZIP) for downloading. Dataset for the theme Cadastral Parcels (CP) harmonised according to the INSPIRE Directive and ELF Data Specification version 1.0. Data contains boundaries of cadastral units, parcels and parcel numbers. Dataset is provided as Open Data (licence CC-BY 4.0). Data is based on ISKN (Information System of the Cadastre of Real Estates). Data is available only in those cadastral units, where the cadastral map is in digital form - (to the 2025-12-15 it is 99.38% of the Czech territory, i.e. 78 374.20km2). Data is created daily (if any change within the cadastral unit occurs). Data in the GML 3.2.1 format is valid against XML Definition Schema for the theme Cadastral Parcels in version 4.0 and against spatial data scheme for ELF in version 1.0. INSPIRE theme Cadastral Parcels Extended (CPX)

Dataset for the theme Cadastral Parcels (CP) harmonised according to the INSPIRE Directive in an extended data model (CPX). The dataset focuses on providing full content of cadastral map of the Czech Republic using extension of CP data model according to the rules of INSPIRE technical guidance. Data is extended on easements, geodetic control points, other features of digital cadastral map. Parcels contain some additional attributes in comparision with INSPIRE dataset as for instance type of boundary, mode of land use, nature of land use, link to the building on the parcel and map symbols. Data contain also original arc geometry of parcel boundaries. Dataset is provided as Open Data (licence CC-BY 4.0). Data is based on ISKN (Information System of the Cadastre of Real Estates). In the areas with analogue map (raster form) only centroids of parcels are available. Boundaries of cadastral units are available for the whole Czech Republic. Parcels, easements, geodetic control points and other features of map from the territory where the digital map occures (to the 2025-12-15 it is 99.38% of the Czech Republic, i.e. 78 374.20km2. Data is created daily (if any change within the cadastral unit occurs). Data in the GML 3.2.1 fotrmat are valid against XML Definition Schema for the Cadastral Parcels Extended in version 4.0. INSPIRE theme Elevation (EL) - GRID

For the theme Elevation INSPIRE requires data harmonisation according Elevation - Grid Coverace application schema. This dataset of the elevation of the Czech Republic therefore has the unified design with other data created for this INSPIRE theme in frame of whole Europe. Data were derived from the Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic – 4th generation (DMR 4G). For compliance with the data specification data were transformed to coordinate reference system ETRS89-TM33N and heigh reference system EVRS. Data are provided in graphic raster format (tiff) with 5 m spatial resolution together with the accompanying information in GML format.

INSPIRE theme Elevation (EL) - TIN

The INSPIRE Elevation TIN data are harmonised according to INSPIRE Implementing Rules. This dataset of the elevation of the Czech Republic therefore has the unified design with other data created for this INSPIRE theme in frame of whole Europe. Data were derived from the Digital Terrain Model of the Czech Republic – 5th generation (DMR 5G). For compliance with the data specification data were transformed to coordinate reference system ETRS89-TM33N and heigh reference system EVRS. Data are provided in GML format, version 3.2.1. Export units are defined by tiles 2 x 2 km. The file consists mainly from coordinates of descrete points, that are supplemented by addtition information.

INSPIRE theme Geographical Names (GN)

The INSPIRE - Geographic Names data are harmonised according to INSPIRE Implementing Rules and correspond with INSPIRE xml schema in version 4.0 and ELF xml schema in version 1.0. This dataset of geographic names of the Czech Republic therefore has the unified design with other data created for this INSPIRE theme in frame of whole Europe. The features are represented by a vector (punctual) component with attributes containing wider information about names. The base of the dataset is the database of geographic names of the Czech Republic Geonames completed with names of features located in the Fundamental Base of Geographic Data of the Czech Republic (ZABAGED®) that are not part of Geonames (street and squares names, traffic nodes and protected areas). The attributes are based on the source databases contents eventually constant on the base of characteristic of source databases (e.g. all names are Czech endonyms, names originating in Geonames standard, street names are official etc.)
